Inert gas agents (IG541 and IG55) are composed of naturally-occurring gases found in the air we breathe. IG541 and IG55 are nontoxic, do not produce corrosive decomposition products when exposed to fire and are designed to protect valuable or sensitive assets that could be damaged by conventional agents. When discharged, they will not produce a fog, therefore escape routes will remain visible.
