BRISBANE

Service Scheduler

You will be responsible for the scheduling services to support our Maintenance Teams in the delivery of the maintenance schedule. Your duties will include:

  • Working safe – all day, every day
  • Plan and schedule service requests to undertake necessary maintenance and serving tasks ensuring customer asset compliance
  • Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and externally, to ensure maintenance scheduling activities optimise both parts and labour
  • Ensure that all works are planned, have tasks assessments completed, time estimates calculated for each discipline and all materials identified, sourced, and ordered
  • Scheduling of all maintenance tasks, based on risk-assessed priority and completed work reviewed against plan to ensure compliance
  • Work within FSI business systems to accurately capture the maintenance work (e.g. service schedules, asset history etc)
  • Work with the Branches toward being a service and maintenance organisation founded on a proactive best practice maintenance culture, and safety maturity.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling for servicing and preventative maintenance, repair estimate, forecasting and budgeting of recurring repairs, inspection of repairs and maintaining safety standards
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • An analytical mindset, the ability to problem-solve and think laterally
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy/ERP system knowledge.

BRISBANE

Service Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, Service Technician currently living in or around Brisbane to join our team. You just have to be mechanically minded and we will train you in the rest!

Once trained, the role will be servicing customers throughout the Mining Industry. Working Monday through to Friday out of our Brisbane Office, your duties will include:

  • New system installations to mining and construction equipment.
  • Providing service maintenance and repairs to various types of fire suppression systems, portables and fire assets across all customer sites.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Coordinating, compiling, and submitting the necessary paperwork and other procedures.
  • Travel required for business needs to regional areas.
  • Attending to client call outs.

About You

  • Mechanical trade or industry related skills.
  • Willingness to learn and perform work to very high standard with attention to detail.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics ability.
  • Fit and energetic personnel required with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a dynamic team.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Coordinating, compiling, and submitting the necessary paperwork and other procedures.
  • Attending to client call outs.

About You

  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics ability.
