Branch Manager

As the Branch Manager, reporting to the Service Manager you will put a high emphasis on leading Branch staff safely and efficiently, achieving budget targets whilst maintaining our local client base and developing new clients. Your responsibilities will be broad-ranging and will include:

  • Driving a safety-first culture within the branch
  • Leading and motivating the branch team to advance employee engagement, developing a high performing team, and providing coaching and mentoring
  • Work in conjunction with our Product Support Team to manage all major client accounts, while also ensuring effective strategies are in place to source and drive new business
  • Providing exceptional customer service skills and maintaining a high level of service standards.
  • Financial accountability of the branch including budgets, achieving KPIs, effectively managing company assets, and efficiently managing stock levels
  • Manage all activities of the branch, ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to, weekly and monthly reporting to the Service Leadership Team, and working with the planning team for optimum regional coverage.

About You:

  • Trade qualifications and/or mechanical experience with an astute understanding of the Mining Industry/Fire Suppression
  • Knowledge and a genuine commitment to health, safety, and environment practices
  • People management experience with the ability to in working in a values-based culture where people are empowered, and engaged where constructive team culture is actively promoted
  • Proven ability to manage large customers accounts, drive business growth, and maintaining a high level of service standards.
  • Analytical mind with excellent commercial and business acumen
  • Highly professional level of written and verbal communication, sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills,
  • Tertiary qualifications in leadership are desirable but not essential.

BRISBANE

Commercial Manager

In this role you will be part of the executive leadership team, developing and driving the financial, commercial and IT functions. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full finance function including the budgeting and forecasting for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, payroll, and making recommendations on initiatives
  • Promote a robust control and governance environment to safeguard the integrity of financial systems and accounting standards
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and provide commercial modelling to support the business to make the right investment and business decisions
  • Lead the design and implementation of improved IT systems and functionality to ensure that they support our continued growth and optimisation
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the entire business
  • Drive change and company initiatives.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role; manufacturing, mining or construction experience is desired but not necessary
  • An Accounting degree with CPA/CA post grad qualifications
  • Supervision, management and people skills with proven skills in working in a values-based culture where people are empowered, engaged, and where a constructive team culture is actively promoted
  • Strong technical skills and experience in Finance, Commercial and IT management.
  • Analytical mind and excellent commercial and business acumen

BRISBANE

Maintenance Planner

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling services to support our Maintenance Teams in the delivery of the maintenance schedule. Your duties will include:

  • Ensure long and short range planning of resource requirements to undertake necessary maintenance and serving tasks ensuring customer asset compliance
  • Building and maintaining an optimised 12-month maintenance activity schedule
  • Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders, both internal and externally, to ensure maintenance planning and scheduling activities are optimised
  • Ensure that all works are planned, have tasks assessments completed, time estimates calculated for each discipline and all materials identified, sourced, and ordered
  • Scheduling of all maintenance tasks based on risk-assessed priority and completed work reviewed against plan to ensure compliance
  • Work within FSI business systems to accurately capture the maintenance work (e.g. service schedules, asset history etc)
  • Work with the Branches toward being a service and maintenance organisation founded on a proactive best practice maintenance culture, and safety maturity.
  • Working safe – all day, every day

About You

  • Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for servicing and preventative maintenance, repair estimate, forecasting and budgeting of recurring repairs, inspection of repairs and maintaining safety standards
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • An analytical mindset, the ability to problem-solve and think laterally
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy/ERP system knowledge
